What’s common between health, education and gaming industries? These all are hot topics in Finland and sectors to keep an eye on. Three experienced angel investors, Leena Niemistö, Janne Jormalainen and Mika Reini will get on stage at EBAN Helsinki 2019 to share their secrets for successful investments during the panel discussion on 'Industries angels should invest in.'

Especially three industries are a hot trend in Finland in 2019: healthcare, education, and of course, gaming. At EBAN Helsinki 2019 we want to tell you exactly why you should be investing into these three sectors.

According to Slush news, healthcare is one of the main investment trends to look out for in 2019. Helsinki city has built one of the biggest medical campuses in the Nordics, which helps the industry as a whole. As a one result we have Terkko Health Hub, HQ for health & life sciences entrepreneurship, which brings together health enthusiast to build innovative projects and businesses. You can meet with them at our event at the booth area!

Investing in education is also a great way to make an impact by fostering the Einsteins of tomorrow. Education technology encompasses everything from computers to digital mobile learning applications. Investing in research and education can help to build whole schools as well. For example New Nordic School, based in Helsinki, has been developing a new educational concept: ‘the Nordic Baccalaureate’ which promotes creativity in learning and helps students to find their passions. In Finland, Europe’s leading business accelerator for EdTech startups xEdu is creating impact in education business by organizing already their seventh acceleration program, xEdu Demo Day, where 10 education startups share their educational solutions. As EBAN Helsinki 2019 attendee, you can also sign up for their event here!

Games, games and games. That’s Finland for you. Even though Finns are known for being successful in the gaming industry, the average investor is cautious when it comes investing in games. Finding the next great game might feel like finding a needle in a haystack, but when that next game is found that hits the records, investors can benefit from huge profits. Just look Finnish decacorns Supercell, Rovio, and the latest success Small Giant Games. Besides profits, gaming industry can also have an impact: as an example the free coding school launched by Supercell, Hive Helsinki, which aims to educate skilled coders through peer-to-peer learning.

We have three experts to tell you exactly WHY you should invest into these industries.
