The EBAN Annual Congress is one of Europe’s largest and most international business angel events held annually by EBAN in cooperation with its best members. After 19 successful editions of the event, the last of which took place in Malaga in 2017 and Sofia in 2018, this year’s edition of the event was in Helsinki, Finland on 3-4 June 2019 at Kaapelitehdas (Cable Factory) and was organized in collaboration with Arctic15.
ORGANIZERS
FiBAN is a Finnish, national, non-profit association of private investors that aims to improve the possibilities for private persons to invest in unlisted potential growth companies. The association’s work is based on the activity by private investors and cooperates with networks supporting high-growth goals.

Established in 1999 by a group of pioneer angel networks in Europe with the collaboration of the European Commission and EURADA, EBAN represents a sector estimated to invest 11.4 billion Euros a year and playing a vital role in Europe’s future, notably in the funding of SMEs. VENUE
Kaapelitehdas (Cable Factory) is Finland's largest and most versatile cultural center. The building was originally constructed as a cable factory in 1939–1954, hence the name.
The building was acquired by the city of Helsinki and converted into a cultural center, where various private and public organisations are based and can hold various events, concerts, exhibitions, fairs and festivals. Kaapelitehdas is the home of three museums - Finnish Museum of Photography, Theater Museum and Hotel and Restaurant Museum, 13 galleries, dance theaters, ateliers, art schools, rehearsing studios, radio stations, a popular cafeteria and more. |
